FOUNDED IN 1988, THE BEAVERTON EDUCATION FOUNDATION ("BEF") IS A 501(C)(3) COMMUNITY-BASED NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION. BEF RAISES MONEY TO PROVIDE HANDS-ON INNOVATIVE ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT AND ADVANCEMENT PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS THAT GO BEYOND NORMAL SCHOOL FUNDING AT ALL 54 BEAVERTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS. BEF MOBILIZES COMMUNITY RESOURCES TO ENSURE THAT OUR STUDENTS HAVE EQUITABLE OPPORTUNITIES TO REACH THEIR BRIGHTEST FUTURE. OUR VISION IS THAT EVERY BEAVERTON STUDENT IS INSPIRED AND PREPARED FOR THEIR BRIGHTEST FUTURE.

THE BEAVERTON EDUCATION FOUNDATION SUPPORTS PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS THAT ENRICH LEARNING AND ACTIVELY ENGAGE STUDENTS. ALL BEAVERTON SCHOOL DISTRICT STAFF MEMBERS - TEACHERS, COUNSELORS, BUS DRIVERS AND SPECIALISTS, ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY FOR SUPPORT. BEF STRIVES TO FUND EVERY SCHOOL AND REACH AS MANY OF OUR DISTRICT'S 41,000 STUDENTS AS POSSIBLE.BEAVERTON'S CHOICE GRANTS OF UP TO $2,500 ARE AVAILABLE FOR STUDENT-ENGAGED PROJECTS THAT ENRICH LEARNING AND ENCOURAGE CLASSROOM INNOVATION IN ANY CONTENT AREA. DURING THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2023, BEF AWARDED $108,436 IN BEAVERTON'S CHOICE GRANTS AND $35,117 IN PROGRAM DIRECTED SUPPORT.
