CSI-DERBY STREET NON-PROFIT HOUSING CORPORATION, IS A CALIFORNIA NON-PROFIT HOUSING CORPORATION ORGANIZED ON A NON-STOCK BASIS BY COOPERATIVE SERVICES, INC., A MICHIGAN NON-PROFIT COOPERATIVE. THE CORPORATION WAS FORMED IN SEPTEMBER 1982 TO ACQUIRE AN INTEREST IN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN BERKELEY, CALIFORNIA AND TO CONSTRUCT AND OPERATE THEREON AN APARTMENT PROJECT OF 169 UNITS. HOUSING IS PROVIDED TO LOW INCOME SENIORS IN COOPERATION WITH THE US DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT.
