MUSEUM: THE MUSEUM WELCOMED MORE THAN 116,000 VISITORS IN 2021 AN INCREASE FROM THE PANDEMIC-STRICKEN 2020 FIGURE OF 70,813 VISITORS. MORE THAN 1,500 SCHOOL CHILDREN ATTENDED THE MUSEUM ON A FIELD TRIP AND MORE THAN 1,000 PEOPLE ATTENDED AN ONSITE OR VIRTUAL LECTURE DURING 2021. OUR TOZER GALLERY HOSTED 3 NATIONALLY TOURING EXHIBITIONS TO HELP ATTRACT VISITORS. PRESERVATION: THE PARK CITY HISTORICAL SOCIETY HOLDS AN EXTENSIVE COLLECTION OF HISTORIC OBJECTS, PAPERS AND PHOTOGRAPHS. GENEALOGISTS, HISTORIC PROPERTY OWNERS, PLANNERS, ARCHITECTS, SCHOLARS, JOURNALISTS AND STUDENTS REQUEST RESEARCH FROM OUR HAL COMPTON RESEARCH LIBRARY LOCATED AT THE PARK CITY MUSEUM. THE PARK CITY HISTORICAL SOCIETY OWNS THE HISTORIC GLENWOOD CEMETERY AND ALLOCATES RESOURCES TO ENSURE ITS PRESERVATION FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS TO EXPLORE AND ENJOY. DEDICATED TO THE STABILIZATION AND PRESERVATION OF THE LAST REMAINING HISTORIC MINING STRUCTURES LOCATED ON THE MOUNTAINS SURROUNDING PARK CITY, IN 2021 THE PARK CITY HISTORICAL SOCIETY STABILIZED THE KING CON ORE BIN.
