UNIVERSITY PROGRAMS: THE UNIVERSITY OF NEVADA RENO FOUNDATION RECEIVES, MANAGES & DISBURSES FUNDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DESIGNATED RESTRICTED PURPOSE FOR WHICH THE GIFTS WERE DONATED. PROVIDES PROGRAMMATIC FUNDING SUPPORTING STUDENTS, FACULTY, RESEARCH & THE COMMUNITY IN THE AREA FUNDS WERE RAISED FOR. TOTAL ENDOWED PROFESSORSHIPS AND CHAIRS INCREASED BY 18 FOR A TOTAL OF 63 ENDOWED POSITIONS.
CAPITAL PROJECTS: ASSIST IN FUNDING CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS ON CAMPUS. PROJECTS INCLUDE ARTS BUILDING, ENGINEERING BUILDING, PENNINGTON HEALTH SCIENCES BUILDING, COLLEGE OF EDUCATION STUDENT SUCCESS CENTER, MOANA MEDICAL BUILDING, COBRE CARDIOLOGY RESEARCH LAB RENOVATION, E.L. WIEGAND FITNESS CENTER, UNIVERSITY ENTRY MONUMENT, JENSEN PLAZA, STERILIZATION ROOM, MACKAY STADIUM, AND MORRILL HALL. WE SUPPORTED FOUR NEW BUILDINGS AND 29 RENOVATIONS ACROSS CAMPUS SINCE 2013.
UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS: SCHOLARSHIP FUNDING WAS USED FOR STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS FOR BOTH NEED AND MERIT BASED. WE FUNDED APPROXIMATELY 29,000 DONOR-SUPPORTED SCHOLARSHIPS SINCE 2013; MORE THAN 4,800 STUDENTS RECEIVED DONOR-FUNDED SCHOLARSHIPS DURING THE 2020-21 ACADEMIC YEAR
ALUMNI PROGRAMS: FUNDING WAS PROVIDED TO ALUMNI ASSOCIATION AND VARIOUS ALUMNI CHAPTERS TO STRENGTHEN TIES TO THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY.
