EVENTS: ORGANIZE AND CONDUCTED 3 MAJOR AND 3 LOCAL CYCLING EVENTS SERVING OVER 2,000 PARTICIPANTS. IN MAY THE CLUB ORGANIZED THE DAVIS DOUBLE CENTURY RIDE. DURING THE YEAR SEVERAL BREVETS WERE ORGANIZED INCLUDING THE RIDE OF SILENCE. IN OCTOBER THE CLUB WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE POPULAR FOXY FALL BIKE RIDE.
RACE TEAM: SUPPORT A TEAM OF WORLD CLASS RIDERS TO RACE AND PROMOTE THE SPORT OF BICYCLING. ON THE 4TH OF JULY THE CLUB SUPPORTS THE CRITERIUM RACE IN DOWNTOWN DAVIS.
MEMBERSHIP AND NEWSLETTER: ENCOURAGE PARTICIPATION IN AND PUBLICIZE EVENTS, SAFETY AND OTHER INFORMATION IMPORTANT TO BICYCLISTS. PROVIDE A RIDER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM AND ADVOCATE THE SPORT.
