THE CORPORATION WAS ORGANIZED TO PROVIDE RENTAL HOUSING FOR LOW-INCOME ELDERLY PERSONS. IT OWNS AND OPERATES AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECTS CONSISTING OF A TOTAL OF 150 RENTAL UNITS FOR LOW-INCOME SENIORS IN OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA. THE PROJECT IS REGULATED BY HUD AS TO RENT CHARGES, OPERATING METHODS AND OTHER MATTERS UNDER SECTION 202 OF THE NATIONAL HOUSING ACT AND THEN UNDER SECTION 207 PURSUANT TO SECTION 223(F) OF THE NATIONAL HOUSING ACT.
