WORLD ARTS WEST IS A REGIONAL PRESENTING AND ARTIST SERVICE ORGANIZATION THAT SUPPORTS NORTHERN CALIFORNIA ARTISTS AND DANCE COMPANIES WHO SUSTAIN THE WORLDS DANCE AND MUSIC TRADITIONS. WORLD ARTS WEST SUPPORTS OVER 450 DANCE COMPANIES THAT ENGAGE 20,000 ARTISTS, SUSTAINING OVER 100 UNIQUE CULTURES FROM AROUND THE WORLD. IN THE LAST FOUR DECADES, WORLD ARTS WESTS CONSTITUENCY HAS GROWN FROM A GRASSROOTS COMMUNITY OF CULTURAL ARTISTS TO THE LARGEST WORLD DANCE NETWORK IN THE UNITED STATES.

SAN FRANCISCO ETHNIC DANCE FESTIVAL THE SAN FRANCISCO ETHNIC DANCE FESTIVAL, PRESENTED ANNUALLY SINCE 1978, IS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL CULTURAL EVENT OF ITS KIND IN THE COUNTRY. THE ANNUAL MULTICULTURAL DANCE FESTIVAL PRESENTS DANCE TRADITIONS THAT HAVE EXISTED FOR GENERATIONS, AS WELL AS INNOVATIVE CHOREOGRAPHY THAT SHOWS CULTURAL TRADITIONS ARE LIVING, BREATHING, AND CONSTANTLY EVOLVING.
ARTIST SERVICE PROGRAM THE ARTIST SERVICE PROGRAM SUPPORTS THE ECONOMIC AND ARTISTIC VIABILITY OF WORLD ARTS WESTS ARTIST COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING CAPACITY-BUILDING SERVICES AND BUILDING A COLLECTIVE VOICE TO SHAPE FUTURE POLICIES THAT ADVANCE CULTURAL EQUITY.
