THESE EVENTS AND SEMINARS WERE PUBLICIZED IN LOCAL MARINE-RELATED PUBLICATIONS AND WERE CONDUCTED BY MEMBERS, INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS AND GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS. EVENTS WERE PROVIDED AT COST AND NO ADMISSION FEES WERE CHARGED FOR THE TRAINING SEMINARS, IN ORDER TO MAKE THEM MORE ACCESSABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
