A COMMUNITY-BASED AQUATICS PROGRAM DEDICATED TO PROVIDING THE YOUTH OF THE S. SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE "THE BEST THEY CAN BE". PROGRAMS INCLUDE SWIMMING LESSONS, SUMMER SWIM PROGRAM, COMPETITIVE SWIM TEAM AND PRE-COMPETITIVE SWIM SCHOOL.

DACA SWIM SCHOOL PROVIDES SWIMMING LESSONS TO APPROXIMATELY 700 STUDENTS PER WEEK. LESSONS ARE PROVIDED FOR CHILDREN, ADULTS AND SPECIAL NEEDS INDIVIDUALS USING A SPECIFIC CURRICULUM. THE DACA SWIM SCHOOL TRAINS AND EMPLOYS OVER 50 PART TIME YOUNG ADULTS AS SWIM INSTRUCTORS.
DACA SWIM TEAM PROVIDES COACHING AND COMPETITIVE SWIM OPPORTUNITIES FOR APPROXIMATELY 400 ATHLETES. COACHING IS OFFERED FOR PRACTICE UP TO 6 DAYS A WEEK AND SWIMMING MEETS. MANY DACA ATHLETES COMPETE AT THE HIGHEST LEVELS INCLUDING NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SWIM MEETS.
DACA PRECOMPETITIVE SWIM PROGRAM PROVIDES SWIM LESSONS TO APPROXIMATELY 150 CHILDREN PER WEEK. CLASSES ARE OFFERED DURING THE WEEK IN ORDER TO PREPARE CHILDREN FOR COMPETITIVE SWIMMING.
