PIEDMONT SWIM TEAM IS A UNITED STATES SWIMMING SANCTIONED TEAM WITH APPROXIMATELY 172 YOUTH SWIMMERS RANGING FROM 6-18 YEARS OLD. WE COMPETE AGAINST OTHER SIMILAR TEAMS IN CALIFORNIA AND PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS TO SWIMMERS UNABLE TO PAY FULL QUARTERLY DUES.

Part 3 - Line 4a
THE ORGANIZATION SERVICES 172 YOUTH MEMBERS WITH SWIM LESSONS IN THREE FACILITIES. THESE SESSIONS ARE HELD PRIOR TO THE START OF AND AFTER SCHOOL FOR SIX DIFFERENT SKILL LEVELS. INSTRUCTION OCCURS EVERY WEEKDAY AND SOME SATURDAYS. SWIM MEETS TAKE PLACE ON WEEKENDS TWICE PER MONTH. DURING THESE COMPETITIONS SWIMMERS STRIVE TO BEAT THEIR BEST TIMES WIN THEIR RACES AND QUALIFY FOR ADVANCED COMPETITIONS. AT THE MINIMUM THE TEAM HAS SENT SWIMMERS TO THE JUNIOR OLYMPICS AND FAR WESTERN SWIM MEETS TWICE PER YEAR.
