JUNIOR LEAGUE OF SAN JOSE (THE ORGANIZATION") IS A CALIFORNIA NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION WITH MEMBERSHIP OF OVER SIX HUNDRED. THE ORGANIZATION IS AN ORGANIZATION COMMITTED TO PROMOTING VOLUNTARISM, DEVELOPING THE POTENTIAL OF WOMEN, AND IMPROVING THE COMMUNITY THROUGH THE EFFECTIVE ACTION AND LEADERSHIP OF TRAINED VOLUNTEERS. ITS PURPOSE IS EXCLUSIVELY EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE. THE MEMBERS ARE FROM VARYING BACKGROUNDS AND REPRESENT THE DIVERSE ROLES OF WOMEN IN THE GREATER SOUTH BAY AREA. THE ORGANIZATION'S VISION IS TO BE RECOGNIZED BY THE COMMUNITY AS THE VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION OF CHOICE FOR CREATING TRANSFORMATIONAL WOMEN LEADERS AND MAKING POSITIVE CHANGE IN THE COMMUNITY. (AJLI). AJLI REPRESENTS MORE THAN 125,000 WOMEN WORLDWIDE. TO MAINTAIN THE ORGANIZATION'S AFFILIATION WITH AJLI, THE LEAGUE PAYS $43 PER MEMBER ANNUALLY.
