RICE BREEDING RESEARCH - PRIMARILY FUNDED THROUGH STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESEARCH CONTRACT FROM THE CALIFORNIA RICE RESEARCH BOARD, THE PURPOSE OF WHICH IS TO IMPROVE RICE PRODUCTION IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA BY DEVELOPING AND IMPROVING VARIETIES OF RICE. THE CALIFORNIA RICE RESEARCH BOARD HAS A MEMBER/LIASON THAT ATTENDS BOARD MEETINGS. THE CONTRACT FUNDING IS BASED UPON AN ITEMIZED BUDGET.
