BY PARTICIPATING IN SACRAMENTO LEADERSHIP DAY, CAL-ACP PHYSICIAN LEADERS FOSTER RELATIONSHIPS WITH LEGISLATORS WHO ARE KEY IN DEVELOPING AND/OR IMPLEMENTING HEALTH CARE POLICY. INVOLVEMENT IN THE CALIFORNIA MEDICAL ASSOCIATION HOUSE OF DELEGATES ANNUAL MEETING ALLOWS CAL-ACP TO BE PART OF THE POLICY-MAKING PROCESS OF THE CMA. CAL-ACP PROVIDES TIMELY INFORMATION TO ALL 11,000 CALIFORNIA ACP MEMBERS ON ISSUES AFFECTING THE PRACTICE OF MEDICINE.
