ORGANIZED THE CHINESE AMERICAN WWII VETERANS RECOGNITION PROJECT IS TO RECOGNIZE, HONOR AND CELEBRATE THE MILITARY SERVICE OF CHINESE AMERICANS WHO FOUGHT IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR THROUGH ADVOCACY, EDUCATION AND PRESERVATION. OUR WORK IS TO ENSURE THAT THE ACHIEVEMENTS AND CONTRIBUTIONS OF THE GREATEST GENERATION WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN BY SPEARHEADING A NATIONAL CAMPAIGN TO IDENTIFY, HONOR AND RECOGNIZE THE EFFORTS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF ALL CHINESE AMERICANS WHO SERVED IN THE UNITED STATES ARMED SERVICES IN WORLD WAR II. ADVOCATING FOR THE PASSAGE OF S.1050 AND H. R. 2358 CHINESE AMERICAN WORLD WAR II VETERANS CONGRESSIONAL GOLD MEDAL ACT. EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ABOUT THEIR EFFORTS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS WHILE SERVING THE UNITED STATES; AND PRESERVING THEIR LEGACY SO THE GREATEST GENERATION WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.PROVIDE EACH CHINESE AMERICAN WWII VETERANS AND THEIR DESCENDANTS WITH A REPLICA OF THE CONGRESSIONAL GOLD MEDAL THROUGH CEREMONIES IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS.SUPPORT SPECIAL SHORT FILM PROJECT PRODUCED IN ASSOCIATION WITH EMMY NOMINATED FILMMAKER, MONTGOMERY HOM.
