THE OREGON MATHEMATICS TEACHER IS A PROFESSIONAL JOURNAL PUBLISHED 5 TIMES DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR. IT INCLUDES GRADE-LEVEL ACTIVITIES, DISCOURSE ON EFFECTIVE PRACTICES AND SAMPLE LESSON PLANS DESIGNED TO TEACH PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS. IT IS INCLUDED AS PART OF MEMBERSHIP.
A MATH SCHOLARSHIP WAS AWARDED TO ONE MEMBER TO PARTICIPATE IN A CMC SOUTH CONFERENCE; TWO SCHAAF-MCFADDEN SCHOLARSHIPS OF $1250 EACH WERE AWARDED TO REIMBURSE TUITION EXPENSES FOR GRADUATE LEVEL COURSES IN MATHEMATICS AND/OR MATH EDUCATION.
OREGON MATH LEADERS IS A CONFERENCE HELD EVERY AUGUST. THIS YEAR'S CONFERENCE WAS A VIRTUAL CONFERENCE ENTIRELY ONLINE.
