THE ORGANIZATION INTENDS TO ASSUME THE TOLEDO ZOO'S CURRENT COMMITMENTS TO GLOBAL CONSERVATION EFFORTS. BY EMBRACING THE ZOO'S "WILD TOLEDO" INITIATIVE, THE ORGANIZATION AIMS TO ENHANCE THE ENVIRONMENT AND RESTORE HABITATS FOR NATIVE SPECIES THROUGH THE PROMOTION OF NATIVE PLANTS AND PRAIRIES. THE ORGANIZATION WILL ALSO PROVIDE GRANTS AND SUPPORT FOR INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH AND CONSERVATION PROJECTS IN ITS GOAL TO PRESERVE ENDANGERED SPECIES, INCREASE BIODIVERSITY, AND IMPROVE ECOSYSTEMS WORLDWIDE.
