THE NATIONAL PARK FRIENDS ALLIANCE HOSTS AN ANNUAL FALL GATHERING IN COLLABORATION WITH THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE AND THE NATIONAL PARK FOUNDATION. THE 2023 MEETING TOOK PLACE OCTOBER 23-26 IN CLEVELAND OH AND AT CUYAHOGA VALLEY NATIONAL PARK. WE HAD 275 PHILANTROPIC PARTNER AND NATIONAL PARK LEADERS AT THIS EVENT FOR NETWORKING, FIELD TRIPS, PLENARY AND BREAKOUT SESSIONS. THE SESSION TOPICS INCLUDED BEST PRACTICES IN FUNDRAISING, PHILANTHROPIC LEADERSHIP SKILLS, INNOVATIVE PARTNERSHIP CASE STUDIES, PROGRAM UPDATES FROM THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE AND NATIONAL PARK FOUNDATION, COLLABORATION MODELS FOR PUBLIC/PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP AND DIVERSITY EQUITY/INCLUSION/ACCESS/JUSTICE
4B. THE NATIONAL PARK FRIENDS ALLIANCE PROVIDES A MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM FOR PHILANTHROPIC PARTNERS OF THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE.
