THE MISSION OF THE A BETTER COMMUNITY DAYTON EDUCATION FOUNDATION IS TO PROVIDE ENHANCED EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO STUDENTS IN THE DAYTON PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT. DURING THE YEAR, 13 DAYTON HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS RECEIVED COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS TOTALING $35,000. CLASSROOM TEACHER GRANTS TOTALING $16,881 WERE ISSUED TO FUND SPECIAL PROJECTS NOT FUNDED THROUGH THE SCHOOL DISTRICT BUDGET.
