CREATE AND MAINTAIN EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS OF OREGON SPORTS HISTORY. CONDUCT ANNUAL INDUCTION CEREMONY TO CELEBRATE GREAT OREGON SPORTS INDIVIDUALS AND TEAMS. PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS.

AN ANNUAL INDUCTION CEREMONY IS HELD WHERE OUTSTANDING ATHLETES, TEAMS AND OTHER INDIVIDUALS ARE RECOGNIZED FOR THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS TO OREGON'S RICH ATHLETIC HERITAGE. THIS EVENT IS PART OF THE ORGANIZATION'S EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES, AND IS TELEVISED TO PROVIDE A GREATER EDUCATIONAL REACH. THE PROGRAM IS REBROADCAST AND THE EVENT IS SEARCHABLE ON OUR WEBSITE AND YOUTUBE ACCOUNT.


COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED TO EXCEPTIONAL INDIVIDUALS DEMONSTRATING ATHLETIC EXCELLENCE DURING THE YEAR. FOR 2015 SIX INDIVIDUALS RECEIVED A TOTAL OF $16,500 IN COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS.
