OREGON ROAD RUNNERS CLUB IS A NON-PROFIT CORPORATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO PROMOTE RUNNING, WALKING AND RELATED ACTIVITIES, FOR FUN, FITNESS, HEALTH AND OVERALL QUALITY OF LIFE. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES INFORMATION, CONDUCTS EVENTS AND SPONSORS ACTIVITIES GOR BOTH COMPETITIVE AND RECREATIONAL WALKERS AND RUNNERS OF ALL AGES AND "WOULD BE" RUNNERS AND WALKERS.

ORRC CONDUCTED MULTIPLE RUNS AND WALKS IN 2022 THAT WERE OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. THE MAJORITY OF EVENTS WERE TIMED. THE EVENTS RANGED IN SIZE FROM APPROXIMATELY 100 PARTICIPANTS, TO APPROXIMATELY 600. THE FOCUS OF ALL EVENTS WAS TO PROMOTE RUNNING AND WALKING FOR FITNESS, FUN, HEALTH AND OVERALL QUALITY OF LIFE.
ORRC PRODUCED WEEKLY AND MONTHLY NEWSLETTERS WHICH WERE SENT OUT VIA EMAIL TO OVER 7,000 SUBSCRIBERS. THE NEWSLETTERS INCLUDE STORIES ON THE VARIETY OF RUNNERS AND WALKERS, TO ENCOURAGE PARTICIPATION BY ALL SKILL LEVELS, AND ACKNOWLEDGE ACHIEVEMENTS.
