OUR MISSION IS TO SERVE AND SUPPORT OUR MEMBERS IN THE AMERICAN JUDO COMMUNITY WHILE UPHOLDING THE PRINCIPLES OF MUTUAL WELFARE AND BENEFIT.

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE FEDERATION PROVIDES AN INTEGRATED SYSTEM OF STANDARDS, RANKINGS AND COMPETITIONS TO SERVE AND SUPPORT THE AMERICAN JUDO COMMUNITY. IN FISCAL 2022 THE FEDERATION SERVED 8287 MEMBERS AND 289 CLUBS/DOJOS. UNDER THE OVERSIGHT OF STANDARDS, 2267 NEW CERTIFICATIONS AND 257 BLACK BELTS WERE AWARDED. COMPETITION IS INTEGRAL TO JUDO AND THE FEDERATION SANCTIONED 97 EVENTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR. GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS OF 43350 WERE ALSO AWARDED TO ENCOURAGE THE DEVELOPEMENT OF ATHELETES.


AS A HIGHLY PHYSICAL ACTIVITY, JUDO HAS RISKS THAT REQUIRE SPECIALIZED INSURANCE COVERAGE.THE FEDERATION PROVIDES OVERALL INSURANCE FOR ACCIDENTAL MEDICAL AND LIABILITY TO MEMBERS AND CLUBS FOR CLASSES AND SANCTIONED EVENTS TO ENCOURAGE THE GROWTH OF JUDO.
