DESTINATION GRANBY IS COMMITTED TO ENGAGING WITH THE COMMUNITY AND FOSTERING A DYNAMIC ECONOMY BY CONNECTING PEOPLE, PLACES AND BUSINESSES. WE HONOR OUT SMALL-TOWN CHARM AND HISTORY WHILE ADVOCATING FOR A VIBRANT DOWNTOWN, AS THE COMMUNITY GATHERING SPACE FOR LOCALS AND VISITORS ALIKE.

DESTINATION GRANBY'S MAIN ACTIVITY IS YEAR-ROUND EVENTS. EVENTS INCLUDE A 3-DAY ICE FISHING CONTEST THAT HAS BEEN RUNNING FOR 35 YEARS WHICH ISCONDUCTED ON NEARBY GRANBY LAKES (LAKE GRANBY, SHADOW MOUNTAIN AND GRAND LAKE). OTHER EVENTS CONDUCTED IN THE TOWN OF GRANBY CITYLIMITS INCLUDE THE 4TH OF JULY PARADE ON MAIN STREET, MUSIC & MARKET WHICH IS AN 8 WEEK SUMMER SERIES THAT INCLUDES LIVE BANDS AND A FARMERSMARKET IN POLHAMUS PARK, SCARECROW FESTIVAL, WHICH IS THREE WEEK FALL COMMUNITY WIDE EVENT, INCLUDING TRICK OR TREAT MAIN STREET FOR KIDS, ANDFINALLY, HOMETOWN HOLIDAYS WHICH HIGHLIGHTS THE CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING EVENT AT THE GRANBY VISITOR CENTER


A SECOND ACTIVITY IS OFFERING PROMOTIONS AND MARKETING TO MANY SMALL BUSINESSES IN THE AREA.DESTINATION GRANBY CONDUCTS THIS ACTIVITY BY PROMISING THE MARKETING SERVICES MANY SMALL BUSINESSES CANNOT AFFORD IN THEIR BUDGETS. THEACTIVITY OF MARKETING AND PROMOTIONS ARE CONDUCTED THROUGHOUT TOWN AND THE COUNTY, AS WELL AS ON OUR WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS. THEACTIVITIES OFTEN REACH PAPER PUBLICATIONS, RADIO PLATFORMS AND DIGITAL MEDIA. THE ACTIVITY REACHES THROUGHOUT COLORADO AND SURROUNDING STATES INCERTAIN STRATEGIES.
