WE HAD A BUSY AND SUCCESSFUL FIRST YEAR IN 2023. WE CREATED A BOARD OF DIRECTORS, MOVED OUR RESIDENTS INTO SAFER NEIGHBORHOODS, AND BEGAN THE PROCESS OF PROMOTING OUR MESSAGE OF RECOVERY AND RESTORATION THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY. OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE: -OPENED THE SISK ROAD RESIDENCE THAT HOUSES 16 MEN -OPENED THE 9TH STREET RESIDENCE THAT HOUSES 16 WOMEN -MADE PREPARATIONS TO LAUNCH "I SEE YOU CLEAN" A COMMERCIAL CLEANING COMPANY THAT WILL PROVIDE TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT TO RESIDENTS IN 2024 -PROVIDED TESTING, COUNSELING, MENTORING, AND ENCOURAGEMENT TO 300 -PROVIDED PEER SUPPORT TRAINING TO 2 BOARD MEMBERS AND 2 VOLUNTEERS -PROVIDED ASSISTANCE TO EZRA HOUSE, ANOTHER RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM -PARTICIPATED IN TEXOMA GIVES -SEVERAL STAFF MEMBERS, RESIDENTS, AND VOLUNTEERS STARTED OR QUALIFIED TO START AT MIDWESTERN STATE UNIVERSITY -AIDED 100 INDIVIDUALS WITH SECURING IDENTIFICATION, BENEFITS, AND EMPLOYMENT -WE HAVE AT LEAST ONE VOLUNTEER IN OUR OFFICE EACH WORK DAY TO MEET THEIR COMMUNITY SERVICE OBLIGATIONS -MORE THAN 100 PEOPLE COMPLETED THE PROGRAM AND RETURNED HOME TO THEIR FAMILIES OR TRANSITIONED INTO THEIR OWN HOMES -WE HAD APPROXIMATELY 260 VOLUNTEERS DONATE THEIR TIME THIS YEAR -SIX PEOPLE RECEIVED PEER SUPPORT CERTIFICATION AS DONATED FROM THE NORTH TEXAS STATE HOSPITAL
