THE ORGANIZATION HOLDS AN ANNUAL COUNTY FAIR WHICH IS ATTENDED BY APPROXIMATELY 12,000 TO 15,000 PEOPLE EACH YEAR. THE COUNTY FAIR PROVIDES AN OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUTH TO EXHIBIT AGRICULTURAL, HORTICULTURAL, HOME ECONOMICS, AND OTHER 4-H AND FFA PROJECTS. THESE PROJECTS ARE JUDGED BY EXPERTS AND THE EXHIBITORS SHARE AND EXPAND THEIR KNOWLEDGE WITHIN THEIR PROJECT AREAS THROUGH THE INTERACTIVE JUDGING PROCESS. THERE ARE ALSO OPEN CLASS EXHIBITS, ENVIRONMENTAL EXHIBITS AND DISPLAYS, COMMERCIAL EXHIBITS AND DISPLAYS AND EXHIBITS BY OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS. 175 4-H YOUTH DISPLAYED OVER 1,340 EXHIBITS AT THE 2010 POPE COUNTY FAIR. THIS IS IN ADDITION TO SEVERAL HUNDRED OPEN CLASS EXHIBITS AND FFA EXHIBITS.
