RECYCLING: OPPORTUNITIES TO RECYCLE PROVIDED FOR A COMMUNITY OF 110,000 PEOPLE. WE PROVIDE A SIX DAY A WEEK DROP OFF; RECYCLING COLLECTION AT THE ALASKA STATE FAIR GROUNDS, THE MAT-SU HOME SHOW AND OTHER EVENTS; AND PROCESS AND TRANSPORT MATERIALS TO MARKET.
EDUCATION AND OUTREACH: WE CONDUCT A WIDE RANGE OF EDUCATION AND OUTREACH. FIELD TRIPS, PRESENTATIONS, WEBSITE, NEWSLETTERS, VIDEOS, CURRICULUM KITS, ONE-ON-ONE OUTREACH AT RETAIL STORES AND OTHER PUBLIC VENUES, PRESENCE AT COMMUNITY EVENTS, ALASKA STATE FAIR BOOTH, AND USE OF EARNED MEDIA TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT RECYCLING OPPORTUNITIES.
