PROVIDING RESOURCES FOR INDIVIDUALS EXPERIENCING MENTAL ILLNESS AND THEIR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS AS FOLLOWS : ONE-ON-ONE PEER SUPPORT; CONSUMER SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS TWICE A WEEK; FAMILY AND FRIENDS SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS TWICE A MONTH; FAMILY-TO-FAMILY 12 WEEK PROGRAM; MONTHLY EDUCATION FORUM; TEACHING SELF-ADVOCACY FOR CONSUMERS AND FAMILIES TO WORK MORE EFFECTIVELY WITHIN THE MENTAL HEALTH AND SOCIAL SERVICES SYSTEMS; PEER EDUCATION ON DIAGNOSIS, SYMPTOMS, TREATMENT OPTIONS, MEDICATIONS, COPING SKILLS, MAINTAINING WELLNESS AND RECOVERY; MEET & GREET PRESENTATIONS; FIGHTING STIGMA THROUGH EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY; LENDING LIBRARY OF OVER 300 CURRENT BOOKS, CDS & DVDS; COMPUTER & PRINTER AVAILABLE FOR USE; AND VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES THAT BREAK ISOLATION AND ENCOURAGE PERSONAL GROWTH.
