THE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION SHALL BE FOR THE EDUCATION OF INDIVIDUALS INTERESTED IN THE GAME OF SOCCER, AND FOR ITS PROMOTION, AND ADMINISTRATION FOR PLAYERS UNDER NINETEEN YEARS OF AGE WITHIN THE FAIRBANKS AREA.

FAIRBANKS YOUTH SOCCER ASSOCIATION (FYSA) PROVIDES PLAYING FIELDS, FIELD MAINTENANCE, EQUIPMENT, COACHES AND REFEREES TO PROMOTE SOCCER FOR OVER 3000 YOUTH PLAYERS, AGES 4 THROUGH 19 YEARS, ANNUALLY. FYSA OFFERS LOWER REGISTRATION FEES FOR YOUTH PLAYERS, WHICH ONLY PARTIALLY DEFRAY THE COSTS OF PLAYER UNIFORMS, REFEREES, INSURANCE, AND SOME OF OUR FIELD DEVELOPMENT COSTS. FYSA PARTNERS WITH THE FAIRBANKS NORTH STAR BOROUGH (FNSB) SCHOOL DISTRICT ON INDOOR GYM SPACE FOR WINTER PROGRAMMING, AND TO FACILITATE MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER SEASONS.
