HEAD START BIRTH TO FIVE IS A STATE AND FEDERAL FUNDED PROGRAM SERVING APPROXIMATELY 150 ELIGIBLE LOW INCOME FAMILIES IN THE FAIRBANKS NORTH STAR BOROUGH.
RESOURCE AND REFERRAL IS A STATE FUNDED PROGRAM SERVING OVER 1,000 EARLY CHILDHOOD PROVIDERS AND FAMILIES IN THE INTERIOR AND NORTHERN REGION OF ALASKA WHICH ENCOMPASES FT. YUKON TO BARROW, NOME, HEALY, TOK, FAIRBANKS AND OTHER COMMUNITIES WITHIN THE REGION.
CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE IS A STATE FUNDED PROGRAM SERVING OVER 400 QUALIFYING FAMILIES IN THE INTERIOR AND NORTHERN REGION OF ALASKA, (AS LISTED ABOVE) WHO NEED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN PAYING FOR THE COST OF CHILD CARE.
