THE TACOMA COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION ASSISTS THE COLLEGE IN ITS MISSION BY INCREASING FINANCIAL RESOURCES AND EXPANDING EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH COMMUNITY ADVOCACY, TEAMWORK, AND INNOVATION. THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTS EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES OF THE COLLEGE THROUGH THE SOLICITATION OF FUNDS AND DEVELOPMENT.

PROVIDE FUNDING FOR COLLEGE PROGRAMS SUCH AS THE HARNED HEALTH & CAREERS CENTER, EARLY LEARNING CENTER, INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION, ALLIED HEALTH DEPARTMENT, ATHLETICS DEPARTMENT, CAMPUS IMPROVEMENTS, AND OTHER ACTIVITIES FOR TACOMA COMMUNITY COLLEGE.


PROVIDE FUNDING FOR SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS THAT WERE AWARDED TO ABOUT 191 STUDENTS FOR ACADEMIC TUITION, FEES, BOOKS, AND OTHER RELATED COLLEGE EXPENSES. ALSO PROVIDES FOR INDIRECT EXPENSES TO ASSIST STUDENTS WITH EMERGENCIES SUCH AS UTILITIES, BUS PASSES, AND CHILDCARE.


PROVIDED FUNDING FOR COLLEGE FACULTY, STAFF, AND ADMINISTRATORS' PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND GROWTH THROUGH CONTINUING EDUCATION, WORKSHOPS, SEMINARS, AND PROGRAMS WHICH BENEFIT THE TCC COMMUNITY.
