SCHOLARSHIPS WERE PAID TO SEVENTEEN GRADUATES OF ELLENSBURG HIGH SCHOOL TO ATTEND COLLEGE.
FUNDING WAS PROVIDED FOR THE PURCHASE OF ITEMS NEEDED BY STUDENTS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN SCHOOL. THE CARING CUPBOARD PROGRAM WORKS THROUGH THE SCHOOL PRINCIPALS AND COUNSELORS TO IDENTIFY STUDENTS WHO NEED HELP WITH BASIC ITEMS.
FUNDING WAS PROVIDED TO VARIOUS TEACHERS THROUGH MINI-GRANT AWARDS FOR THINGS NOT AVAILABLE THROUGH THE REGULAR SCHOOL DISTRICT BUDGET.
