THE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO CARRY OUT CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES AND TO SUPPORT, BENEFIT, AND CARRY OUT THE PURPOSES OF OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS,INCLUDING THE SONORA AREA FOUNDATION, WHOSE CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES BENEFIT TUOLUMNE COUNTY AND THE CITIZENS AND RESIDENTS OF TUOLUMNE COUNTY. PARTICULAR CONCERN IS GIVEN TO THE YOUTH OF TUOLUMNE COUNTY, INCLUDING SPORTS FACILITIES FOR THEIR USE, AND SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS AND STUDENT LEADERS GRADUATING FROM TUOLUMNE COUNTY HIGH SCHOOLS FOR THEIR CONTINUING EDUCATION.
