TEACHING GRANTS - SEQUIM EDUCATION FOUNDATION (SEF) COLLABORATES WITH THE SEQUIM SCHOOL DISTRICT TO PROVIDE GRANT FUNDS FOR SPECIFIC ACADEMIC PROGRAMS THAT WOULD NOT OTHERWISE BE ABLE TO BE CONDUCTED IN THE DISTRICT. SEF WORKS CLOSELY WITH DISTRICT STAFF TO DETERMINE HOW BEST TO LEVERAGE EXISTING DISTRICT RESOURCES AND HAVE AS WIDE OF A PROGRAM FOOTPRINT AS POSSIBLE. THE SCALE OF SEF GRANTS RANGES FROM SINGLE CLASSROOM PILOT PROGRAMS TO LARGER PROGRAMS OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS IN THE DISTRICT.
SCHOLARSHIPS - SCHOLARSHIPS FOR PARTIFICAPION IN THE ARTS AND STEM-BASED PROGRAMS ARE AWARDED. SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED TO DISTRICT STUDENTS GRADUATING FROM HIGH SCHOOL TO FACILITATE POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION.
