LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT: 1. PREACHED IN LOCAL CHURCHES MULTIPLE TIMES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR: GROS (IGLESIA EVANGLICA ENCUENTRO CON DIOS), AND BILBAO (INTERNATIONAL BAPTIST CHURCH). PREACHED REMOTELY BI-WEEKLY IN GROS THROUGHOUT LOCKDOWN;2. CONTINUED DEVELOPMENT AND SUPERVISORY ROLE FOR YOUNGLIFE EUSKADI (ADVISING AND DIRECTING ON VISION, STRATEGY AND BEST PRACTICES);3. TAUGHT SEVERAL SERIES OF SEMINARY LECTURES FOR SEFOVAN, A SPANISH SEMINARY BASED IN MADRID;4. WORKED WITH OTHER MINISTRY PARTNERS ON DISCIPLE MAKING MOVEMENT TRAINING FOR LOCAL CHURCHES THROUGHOUT BASQUE COUNTRY; THIS WORK WAS GREATLY REDUCED DURING PANDEMIC; AND5. HOSTED REGULAR MEETINGS WITH LOCAL PASTORS FOR TRAINING/ADVISING ON MINISTRY METHODOLOGY AND STRATEGY; THIS WAS DISCONTINUED FROM MID-MARCH ONWARD.CULTURAL EXCHANGE:1. HOSTED CULTURAL EXCHANGE EVENTS BOTH BEFORE AND DURING THE PANDEMIC, THOUGH GREATLY REDUCED FROM MID-MARCH ONWARD;2. TAUGHT ENGLISH IN A LOCAL SCHOOL FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN AND ETHICS FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS; AND3. PARTNERED WITH LOCAL UNIVERSITY FOR TEACHING IN TECHNOLOGY WITH COLLEGE UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS. ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS CANCELLED OR POSTPONED DUE TO THE PANDEMIC:1. PLANNED HOSTING OF MISSION TEAM FROM SPORTSQUEST AND HOUSTON'S FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH FOR SPORTS CAMPS IN JUNE 2020 WAS CANCELLED.2. PLANNED CAMP SUPPORTED BY SERVANT LIFE OF BIRMINGHAM, AL, FOR JULY 2020 WAS CANCELLED.3. PLANNED SERIES OF PARENTING CLASSES ORGANIZED IN CONJUNCTION WITH SANTA TERESA IKASTETXEA AND YOUNGLIFE FOR SPRING 2020 WAS POSTPONED. FUNDRAISING TRIPS IN APRIL 2020 AND OCTOBER 2020 FOR CEO IAN BROU TO USA WERE CANCELLED. 5. SUMMER SPORTS CAMP IN GERMANY IN SUMMER 2020 CANCELLED6. SUMMER INTERNSHIPS FOR 2020 AND ASSOCIATED PROJECTS FOR THOSE INTERNS WERE CANCELLED. 7. HOLIDAY CULTURAL EXCHANGE EVENTS WERE GREATLY MODIFIED OR CANCELLED.
