THE SPECIFIC PURPOSE FOR THE FORMATION OF NAVARRO BY THE SEA IS TO PROMOTE HISTORIC AND SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND RESTORATION, EDUCATION, TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES, SPECIFICALLY FOR RIPARIAN AND ESTUARINE ECOSYSTEMS. TO SPONSOR SCIENTIFIC AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND TO PROVIDE A FORUM FOR COMMUNICATION AMONG PROFESSIONAL IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE COMMUNITY AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC.SPECIFIC ONGOING GOALS INCLUDE THE RESTORATION OF CAPTAIN FLETCHERS INN WITH THE INTENTION OF OCCUPYING A PORTION OF THE BUILDING.PROVIDE EDUCATION FOR BOTHER SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITIES AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC, INCLUDING SCHOOL CHILDRENFOSTER SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH CONCERNING RIPARIAN AND ESTUARINE ECOSYSTEMS OF THE NORTH COAST OF CALIFORNIA, BEGINNING WITH THE NAVARRO SYSTEM.
