THE JOYCE L. SOBEL FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER, FORMERLY THE SAN JUAN ISLAND FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER, ASSISTS INDIVIDUALSAND FAMILIES IN OUR COMMUNITY TO ACHIEVE THEIR HIGHEST POTENTIAL BYPROVIDING ACCESS TO ESSENTIAL RESOURCES AND PROGRAMS THAT PROMOTE HEALTHAND STABILITY.

BASIC NEEDS SERVICES: PROVIDED ASSISTANCE FOR HOUSING, FOOD, TRANSPORTATION AND OTHER BASIC NECESSITIES TO 5,200 ADULTS AND 2,400 YOUTH.
FAMILY AND YOUTH SERVICES: PROVIDED 1,220 HOURS OF EDUCATION AND PARENTING SUPPORT SERVICES, AND PROVIDED 3,580 HOURS IN YOUTH SUPPORT IN SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICES INCLUDING SUPPORT GROUPS TO A TOTAL OF 430 ADULTS AND 1,270 YOUTH/CHILDREN.
HEALTH ASSISTANCE AND HOUSEHOLD ESSENTIALS: PROVIDED COUNSELING AND CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES INCLUDING BUDGETING, REFERRALS TO OTHER AGENCIES, HEALTH INSURANCE ENROLLMENT, HEALTH AND PRESCRIPTION ASSISTANCE TO 625 ADULTS AND 150 YOUTH.
