THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTED ITS 2021 ANNUAL MEETING AND SECOND TN TRAUMA SYMPOSIUM IN PERSON AUGUST 5 - 8, AT THE WESTIN HOTEL IN MEMPHIS, TN. APPROXIMATELY 100 ATTENDEES PARTICIPATED. REPRESENTATIVES OF THE TN SURGICAL QUALITY COLLABORATIVE, THE TENNESSEE COMMITTEE ON TRAUMA, THE TENNESSEE CANCER COMMITTEE ALSO ATTENDED PORTIONS OF THE PROGRAM. DURING THE MEETING, FIVE RESIDENT PAPERS COMPETITIONS WERE HELD. TWO FIRESIDE CHATS WERE HELD DURING THE YEAR WHICH WERE FOCUSED ON MEMBER ENGAGEMENT AND EDUCATION. IN 2021, THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COALTION FOR COLLABORATIVE CARE TO PROMOTE A PATIENT-CENTERED TEAM-BASED APPROACH TO HEALTH CARE.
