SPORTS PROGRAMS AT ECHS ENABLE STUDENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN TRAINING AND COMPETITION BY PROVIDING EQUIPMENT, COACHING, AND TRAVEL EXPENSES.
THE MUSIC PROGRAM AND SUPPORTERS OF THEATER ARTS COMMITTEES PROVIDE THE BULK OF THE OPERATING SUPPORT TO MUSIC AND THEATER PRODUCTION AT ECHS BY FUNDING ESSENTIAL EQUIPMENT, COMPETITIVE FESTIVAL EXPENSES, GUEST CLINICIANS, SHEET MUSIC, ACTING COACHES, SET DESIGN AND EXPENSES, AND COSTUMES.
PROJECTS AND GRANTS TO PROMOTE THE POSITIVE HIGH SCHOOL EXPERIENCE, SAFETY AND WELFARE OF EL CERRITO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. THIS INCLUDES THE HOSTING OF GRADUATION NIGHT, AN ARCHIVING PROJECT FOR MEMORABILIA OF THE ORIGINAL SCHOOL SITE, AND GRANT FUNDS FOR ACADEMIC AND ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS.
