THE AILA DC CHAPTER HOLDS AN ANNUAL IMMIGRATION LAW CONFERENCE FOR MEMBERS EVERY FALL. THE AILA DC CHAPTER HOLDS MONTHLY MEETINGS FOR ITS MEMBERSHIP, TO DISCUSS ISSUES AFFECTING DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, MARYLAND AND VIRGINIA IMMIGRATION LAWYERS AND THEIR CLIENTS. THE AILA DC CHAPTER HOLDS ANNUAL CITIZENSHIP DAY CLINICS IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT DC, MD AND VA, AT WHICH MEMBERS PROVIDE PRO BONO SERVICES TO THE PUBLIC. THE AILA DC CHAPTER PRODUCES AND DISTRIBUTES NEWSLETTERS AND PROVIDES WEBSITE ACCESS WITH UP- TO-DATE INFORMATION CONCERNING IMMIGRATION MATTERS FOR DC, MD AND VA IMMIGRATION LAWYERS. THE AILA DC CHAPTER HAS MEMBERS THAT SERVE AS LIAISONS BETWEEN MEMBERSHIP AND VARIOUS IMMIGRATION RELATED ENTITIES INCLUDING UNITED STATES CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGATION SERVICE (USCIS), DEPARTMENT OF LABOR (DOL), EXECUTIVE OFFICE FOR IMMIGRATION REVIEW (EOIR), DEPARTMENT OF STATE (DOS), IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOMS ENFORCEMENT (ICE) AND CUSTOMS AND BORDER PROTECTION (CBP).
