ARCHIVAL PRESERVATION AND CARE - PRESERVE ARTIFACTS AND OTHER HISTORICAL MATERIALS AND PROVIDE A RESOURCE FOR RESEARCHERS.
HIGHLINE HERITAGE MUSEUM - CONTINUING TO FUNDRAISE AND OPEN THE MUSEUM TO THE PUBLIC, INCLUDING AN OPENING EXHIBITION RECEIPTION. NEW ART EXHIBITS AND AMBAUM EXHIBIT INSTALLED AND OPENED FOR THE PUBLIC. OPEN HOUSE FOR DONORS TO BE THE FIRST TO SEE THE NEW EXHIBITS. INCLUDING THE XLIKE MOTHER" EXHIBIT. FOOD AND WINE WERE PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE.
POETRY READING AND POETRY WRITING WORKSHOP - INSTRUCTOR BROUGHT IN TO READ POETRY AND THEN BREAK DOWN HOW POETRY IS WRITTEN. INDIVIDUALS WERE THEN ASKED TO WRITE A POEM. APPROXIMATELY 20 IN ATTENDANCE.
