PUBLIC EDUCATION: RESEARCH, PRINT AND PUBLISH THE "BUCKHORN BULLETIN" NEWSLETTER, DIRECT MAIL TO EDUCATE AND SOLICIT MEMBERSHIP. TWO PUBLISHED NEWSLETTERS REACHED OVER 1050 HOUSEHOLDS AND ORGANIZATIONS. TWO FIELD TRIPS FOR ADULTS, TWO WETLAND RESTORATION TOURS FOR RESTORATION PROJECT PARTNERS AND PRACTITIONERS, FOUR FIELD TRIPS FOR K-12 STUDENTS, TWO COMMUNITY EVENTS REACHED OVER 200 LOCAL COMMUNITY MEMBERS. TWO INDOOR EDUCATIONAL EVENTS WERE ATTENDED BY OVER 100 COMMUNITY MEMBERS. VOLUNTEER EVENTS TO STEWARD LOCAL TRAILS WERE ATTENDED BY 25 PEOPLE.


TO RESEARCH AND IMPLEMENT AN INNOVATIVE WETLAND RESTORATION AND FOREST MANAGEMENT PROGRAM FOR THE BENEFIT OF NATIVE SPECIES AND COMMUNITIES.
