OUR SECOND VIRTUAL "TAKE A KID MOUNTAIN BIKING DAY" DREW AN AMAZING 700 PARTICIPANTS. IN LIEU OF OUR LARGE MOUNTAIN BIKE FESTIVAL, WE AGAIN POSTED A VIRTUAL DIRTY DOZEN RIDE CHALLENGE, WHICH CHALLENGED 1,901 PARTICIPATING RIDERS TO RIDE 13 TRAILS ACROSS OUR 8 CHAPTERS. OUR COMMUNITY BUILDING EFFORTS INCLUDED NEW DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION INITIATIVES TO HELP INCREASE DIVERSITY IN OUR SPORT AND BECOME MORE WELCOMING AS AN ORGANIZATION AND AS A COMMUNITY, INCLUDING STAFF TRAINING AND NEW COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS. OVERALL, WE CONTINUE TO FOSTER A STRONG CONSERVATION ETHIC AND SUSTAINABLE BEHAVIOR AMONGST OUR COMMUNITY MEMBERS, AND ENCOURAGE BOTH VOLUNTEERISM AND ACTIVE, ENGAGED, AND HEALTHY LIFESTYLES.

EDUCATION: AFTER LIMITED OFFERINGS IN 2020 DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, 2021 BROUGHT A RESTRUCTURE FOR SAFE OPERATIONS AND WITH IT A RENEWED ENERGY FOR BOTH YOUTH CAMPS AND ADULT CLINICS.
