SMALL BUSINESS INCUBATOR: THE THURSTON COUNTY SMALL BUSINESS INCUBATOR IS CREATING JOBS BY HELPING ENTREPRENEURS AND SMALL BUSINESSES ACCESS THE RESOURCES THEY NEED FOR GROWTH AND LONG-TERM SUCCESS. THE INCUBATOR, A PROJECT OF THE THURSTON COUNTY CHAMBER FOUNDATION, IS SUPPORTED BY THE FOUNDATION, THE THURSTON COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY, AND LOCAL AND STATE GOVERNMENTS.20 PEOPLE SERVED.
FUND AN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM HOSTED BY THE AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT AND THE THURSTON CHAMBER FOUNDATION WHICH ASSISTS STUDENTS IN EXPLORING AND UNDERSTANDING CAREER OPPORTUNITIES AND THE SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIRED FOR THOSE CAREERS. IT IS A LOCAL PROGRAM CREATED SPECIFICALLY FOR OUR COMMUNITY AND DESIGNED TO HELP PARTICIPANTS: - ACQUIRE KNOWLEDGE AND A BROAD UNDERSTANDING OF THE COMPLEX ISSUES FACING SOUTH SOUND. - BUILD RELATIONSHIPS FOR COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS NEEDED TO RESOLVE CHALLENGES. - ENHANCE LEADERSHIP SKILLS THROUGH EXPERIENCES WITH COMMUNITY LEADERS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES DURING THE YEAR.40 STUDENTS SERVED.
