SCOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS TO ATTEND JAZZ MUSIC CAMPS AROUND THE NATION. SCOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED TO MUSIC STUDENT DEMONSTRATING AN INTEREST IN JAZZ MUSIC.
PUBLIC EDUCATION PROVIDED THRU LIVE PERFORMANCE OF DIXIELAND JAZZ MUSIC STYLES AND SWING. PROVIDED BY FUNDING VARIOUS MUSICAL PROGRAMS AT LOCAL VENUES, SUCH AS CHURCHES, PERFORMING ARTS CENTERS, LOCAL FARMERS MARKETS.
PROMOTION OF HISTORICAL DIXIELAND JAZZ, AN AMERICAN ART FORM WITH LIVE PERFORMANCE. ANNUAL 3-DAY DIXIELAND JAZZ FESTIVAL IS OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. FACILITATING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN THE THURSTON COUNTY AREA.
