MUSIC EDUCATION PROGRAMS, CLINICS, AND WORKSHOPS PRIMARILY FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. THIS YEAR, CLINICS WITH TRIOS OF PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS WERE HELD FOR MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS THREE THURSDAYS EACH MONTH.
SUPPORT OF LIVE MUSIC VENUES; PREDOMINENTLY AT THE ORGANIZATION'S NORTH BEND, WA LOCATION, BUT ALSO AT OTHER VENUES WITHIN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST. THIS YEAR, A JAZZ WALK AND BLUES WALK WERE HELD IN NORTH BEND IN CONJUNCTION WITH LOCAL BUSINESSES AND THE FIRST EVER JAZZ WALK WAS HELD IN EDMONDS, WA.
COMMUNITY EVENTS TO PROMOTE JAZZ AND BLUES ART FORMS, AND TO PROMOTE LIVE MUSIC VENUES, PREDOMINATELY AT THE BOXLEY MUSIC VENUE IN NORTH BEND. THIS YEAR LIVE MUSIC WAS PRESENTED AND SPONSORED BY THE MUSIC FUND EVERY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY WITH MONTHLY PRO-AM (PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS PAIRED WITH K-12 AGED STUDENTS) HELD ONE THURSDAY EVERY MONTH.
