GLUTEN-FREE CERTIFICATION ORGANIZATION (GFCO) IS THE FIRST AND FOREMOST GLUTEN-FREE CERTIFICATION PROGRAM IN THE WORLD THAT HAS DEEMED MORE THAN 60,000 PRODUCTS PRODUCED IN 40 COUNTRIES SAFE FOR GLUTEN-FREE PERSONS TO CONSUME. ITS GF LOGO SIGNIFIES THE INDEPENDENT VERIFICATION OF PRODUCT QUALITY, INTEGRITY, AND PURITY.
GLUTEN-FREE FOOD SERVICE (GFFS) IS A MANAGEMENT ACCREDITATION PROGRAM DESIGNED TO WORK WITH ALL TYPES OF FOOD SERVICE ESTABLISHMENTS THAT SERVE GLUTEN-FREE CONSUMERS. THIS PROGRAM USES TRAINING AND MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES TO TRAIN EMPLOYEES PROPER TECHNIQUES FOR GLUTEN-FREE FOOD PREPARATION AND TO CERTIFY FOOD SERVICES PROCESSES AND PROCEDURES FOR SAFE GLUTEN-FREE MEALS. GFFS HAS SUCCESSFULLY BEEN IMPLEMENTED IN A VARIETY OF FOOD SERVICES, BOTH LARGE AND SMALL.
GIG'S GLUTEN-FREE HEALTH AND WELLNESS EDUCATIONAL CAMPAIGNS TARGEST BOTH INDIVIDUALS AND THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY. THE NUTRIIONAL AND DIETARY NEEDS ASSOCIATED WITH THE GLUTE-FREE DIET IS EMPHASIZED. THESE EFFORTS INCLUDE DISTRIBUTION OF EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL, SPEAKING EVENTS, AND EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS. ADDITIONALLY EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ACTIVITIES ARE CONDUCTED AT THE ORGANIZATION AND LCOAL COMMUNITY LEVEL THROUGH OVER 90 SUPPORT GROUPS. DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, ALL FACE-TO-FACE PROGRAMS WERE DELAYED UNTIL 2021. AT THE ORGANIZATIONAL LEVEL, EFFORTS SUCH AS CAMPS FOR YOUTH AND ACTIVITIES SUCH AS A TEEN CONFERENCE ARE PLANNED FOR 2021. ACTIVITIES AT THE SUPPORT GROUP LEVEL INCLUDES REGULAR MEETINGS EHN ALLOWED, EDUCATIONAL EVENTS, AND FUNDRAISING EFFORTS. THESE ACTIVITIES ARE OVERSEEN BY THE ORGANIZATION AND CONDUCTED BY VOLUNTEERS WITHIN INDIVIDUAL COMMUNITIES.
