THE CFA SOCIETY OF SEATTLE PROMOTES ETHICAL AND PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS WITHIN THE INVESTMENT ADVISORY INDUSTRY, ENCOURAGES PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT THROUGH THE CFA PROGRAM, AND FACILITATES THE OPEN EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION AND OPINIONS.

THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS HIGH QUALITY PROGRAMS AND DISSEMINATES INFORMATION AND IDEAS RELATING TO INVESTMENTS (TOPICAL PROGRAMS, ACCOUNTING & ECONOMIC SEMINARS,AND CONTINUTING EDUCATION CLASSES). PRESENTATIONS ARE MADE BY THE MANAGEMENT OF MAJOR CORPORATIONS TO MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS. OVER 20 LOCAL EVENTS AND PROGRAMS ARE HOSTED DURING THE YEAR. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDES JOB PLACEMENT LISTINGS AND MAKES CFA INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS AVAILABLE TO ITS MEMBERS. ADDITIONALLY, THE ORGNIZATION OFFERS PREPARATORY EDUCATION PROGRAMS (CFA STUDY PROGRAMS) CONDUCTED FOR CANDIDATES ENROLLED IN THE CHARTERED FINANCIAL ANALYST PROGRAM.
