CHANGE HUNGER TO HOPE THE BLAINE FOOD BANK IS AN ALL-VOLUNTEER FOOD DISTRIBUTION OPERATION THAT SEEKS TO RESTORE HEALTH, DIGNITY AND HOPE TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILES IN OUR COMMUNITY WHO FACE FOOD INSECURITY, WE ARE "NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS" WHO FEED THE HUNGRY TODAY AND OFFER HOPE FOR TOMORROW.

DURING 2022 THE BLAINE FOOD BANK PROVIDED FOOD TO APPX 75,544 INDIVIDUALS. DURING 2022 THE FOOD BANK RECEIVED CASH CONTRIBUTIONS OF 528,095 AND FOOD VALUED AT 2,644,655. ALSO VOLUNTARY LABOR VALUED AT 395,002 WAS CONTRIBUTED. THERE ARE NO RESTRICTIONS ON ANY FOOD OR CASH RECEIVED. FOOD AND SUPPLIES PURCHASED FOR DISTRIBUTION WAS 37,800. THE AVERAGE VALUE OF FOOD DISTRIBUTED PER PERSON IS 35.33 (2,668,295 / 75,544). DONATED LABOR IS VALUED AT 16.69 PER HOUR. CONTRIBUTED FOOD IS VALUED AT 1.82 PER POUND.
