CHANGE HUNGER TO HOPE THE BLAINE FOOD BANK IS AN ALL-VOLUNTEER FOOD DISTRIBUTION OPERATION THAT SEEKS TO RESTORE HEALTH, DIGNITY AND HOPE TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILES IN OUR COMMUNITY WHO FACE FOOD INSECURITY, WE ARE "NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS" WHO FEED THE HUNGRY TODAY AND OFFER HOPE FOR TOMORROW.

DURING 2021 THE BLAINE FOOD BANK PROVIDED FOOD TO APPX 80,011 INDIVIDUALS. DURING 2021 THE FOOD BANK RECEIVED CASH CONTRIBUTIONS OF 403,836 AND FOOD VALUED AT 2,286,793. ALSO VOLUNTARY LABOR VALUED AT 375,620 WAS CONTRIBUTED. THERE ARE NO RESTRICTIONS ON ANY FOOD OR CASH RECEIVED. FOOD AND SUPPLIES PURCHASED FOR DISTRIBUTION WAS 23,597. THE AVERAGE VALUE OF FOOD DISTRIBUTED PER PERSON IS 28.88 (2,310,390 / 80,011). DONATED LABOR IS VALUED AT 16.69 PER HOUR. CONTRIBUTED FOOD IS VALUED AT 1.82 PER POUND.
