WE RESERVE 50% OF SPACES IN THE PROGRAM FOR FAMILIES OF LOW INCOME. WE OFFER A SLIDING SCALE AND UP TO 70% OF FAMILIES RECEIVE SOME KIND OF TUITION ASSISTANCE.

PIKE MARKET CHILD CARE & PRESCHOOL IS A NATIONALLY ACCREDITED EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM COMMITTED TO ENSURING FAMILIES OF ALL ECONOMIC MEANS HAVE ACCESS TO QUALITY CARE AND EARLY EDUCATION. WE OFFER SERVICES ON A SLIDING SCALE AND UP TO 70% OF FAMILIES RECIEIVE TUITION ASSISTANCE (50% OF THOSE FAMILIES ARE OF LOW-VERY LOW OR EXTREMELY LOW INCOME). OUR PROGRAM PROVIDES A SAFE, NURTURING AND ENRICHING PRESCHOOL EXPERIENCE THAT ALLOWS PARENTS TO WORK, JOB SEARCH, OR GO TO SCHOOL KNOWING THAT THEIR CHILDREN ARE WELL CARED FOR. WE HAVE A COOKED FROM SCRATCH NUTRITION PROGRAM THAT MEETS MORE THAN 70% OF CHILDREN'S DAILY NUTRITIONAL NEEDS. FAMILIES UNDER DISTRESS OR IN CRISIS FIND ASSISTANCE IN OUR WORK THAT SUPPORTS THEIR STABILITY AND HELPS THEM REACH THEIR GOALS FOR THEMSELVES AND THEIR FAMILIES. OUR ANTI-BIAS CURRICULUM FOCUSES ON BUILDING HIGH SELF-ESTEEM, THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROACTIVE, NON-VIOLENT SOCIAL SKILLS, COMMUNICATION AND PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS, AS WELL AS AN APPRECIATION FOR DIVERSITY.
