THE EASTSIDE HERITAGE CENTER HOLDS AN ANNUAL STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL. THROUGH THIS HISTORIC ANNUAL EVENT, THE EHC ENDEAVORS TO CREATE PUBLIC AWARENESS FOR THE ORGANIZATION AND TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT IN AND APPRECIATION OF BELLEVUE AND EASTSIDE HISTORY.
EASTSIDE HERITAGE CENTER MAINTAINS AND SELLS IMAGES FROM THE ARCHIVED COLLECTIONS AS WELL AS BOOKS THAT HAVE BEEN WRITTEN AND PRINTED. A TRAVELING "TREASURE" BOX IS AVAILABLE FOR LIMITED USE TO THE PUBLIC, AS WELL AS HISTORICAL RESEARCH, PRESENTATION AND TOURS . THESE PROGRAMS ARE CONSIDERED AN EXCELLENT OUTREACH TO THE COMMUNITY.
EASTSIDE HERITAGE CENTER STORES AND MAINTAINS OVER 30,000 ARTIFACTS AND IMAGES RELATING TO EASTSIDE HISTORY. THE ORGANIZATION HAS A FIDUCIARY DUTY TO PROTECT THE COLLECTION. EASTSIDE HERITAGE CENTER UTILIZES THE COLLECTION AS ONE WAY TO ACCENTUATE ITS PROGRAMS.
